Richard Sparks
Sole Trader / Founder
Advantage Geomatics has been set up by Richard Sparks who has almost 20 years experience in surveying in a variety of roles.
Having graduated from Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter, he has worked with a number of survey firms in the Midlands and South West and for a period of time working in the off shore exploration sector, conducting seismic surveys.
During his time working as a surveyor he has worked on a wide range of projects all over the world. Projects as diverse as the Newquay Airport redevelopment, Bodmin Psychiatric hospital, volume surveys in Irish Limestone Quarries, Kingsholm Rugby pitch to ship sensor verification surveys on a variety of vessels. Working on these wide spectrum of jobs has taught him to be adaptable and flexible to ensure that the job gets done.
