It is with great excitement that we announce that Advantage Geomatics has signed onto an ERDF led Agri-Tech development program based at Harper Adams University, Shropshire
We will be looking to provide solutions that improve the competitiveness and efficiency of local farming operations, large and small, to enable them to improve the way they measure, track and manage their crops and stock.
Building on the experience of Advantage Geomatics in the field of surveying and the resource of knowledge and understanding of the problems faced by farmers at Harper Adams we aim to collaborate to develop saleable services and products to local agricultural businesses and operations.
With the ongoing research at Harper Adams University into developing technologies such as drones and other autonomous machinery Advantage Geomatics plan to develop and integrate our skills and products for the Agriculture sector. By combining our resources we aim to transfer their cutting edge, theoretical research to the end user in a cost effective and beneficial product.
The project is set to run over the next three years and Advantage Geomatics are looking forward to what promises to be an exciting opportunity to work with Harper Adams University staff and students. Watch this space for more updates.
